Dinitrol 485 is a quick drying corrosion protector and preservative. It is opalescent and dries to a non-sticky film. A smooth or coarse finish can be obtained depending on the method of application. It is recommended for use on panel overlaps, grooves and spot welding seams in the engine compartment; shock absorber mountings and water gutters. Machine parts, equipment, garden and agricultural tools can be temporarily protected from rusting by using the Corrosion Protection Wax. Does not attack paints used on cars, adheres to nearly all base materials, is electrically non-conductive and odourless once the solvent has evaporated.

Dinitrol 4010 is a high temperature clear wax and is solvent based. It is a long term engine protection product with heat resistance up to 200 degrees centigrade. The product leaves a firm transparent film with short drying time with good adhesion and flexibility on all metal surfaces, rubber and plastic parts. It is resistant to alkali and acidic solutions. Ideal for using under the bonnet, on hose clips and unpainted aluminum, which can corrode leaving a white powder. Dries to a hard clear finish.

DINITROL 81
DINITROL 81 is a transparent, hard and waxy film, ideally suited as a protective coating, affording easy visual inspection of the metal surface, reading of labels, numbers, etc. DINITROL 81 is intended for protection, in storage and in transit, of finished surfaces of steel and of other metals, particularly when a colourless, transparent and smearless film is desired. DINITROL 81 may also be used for protection of lacquered surfaces withstanding white spirit and similar solvents, e.g. different types of tooling and equipment, engines and vehicles.

Dinitrol 112 is a corrosion preventive fluid designed for long-term corrosion protection even in severely corrosive environments. It is viscous and upon evaporation of the solvent, DINITROL 112 leaves a thick, light brown, waxy film with excellent rust preventive properties both indoors and outdoors. Thanks to its hard consistency, the film also provides also some mechanical protection. DINITROL 112 exhibits a smear-less film, has good coverage and dries quickly. It is primarily intended for protection of machines, machine parts and other objects of iron or steel which are stored or transported in conditions conducive to corrosion. DINITROL 112 is thus especially suitable for protection during long-term storage and for corrosion protection of export goods.

DINITROL PASTA grease is coloured, hence it is easy for the user to ensure that the coating of grease is even and covers the entire surface. DINITROL PASTA is primarily intended for protection of machines, machinery components, spare parts and other iron and steel objects to be stored or transported under corrosion induced conditions. It gives excellent protection both on treated and untreated surfaces and is particularly suited on details like moving parts, which are difficult to clean as DINITROL PASTA is oil soluble. Apply using a brush. The paste should be applied evenly, particularly when the object is to be stored in the open-air.

What Does Thixotropic Mean?
Thixotropic means that the wax skins over but remains soft underneath allowing for expansion and contraction of the surface it is applied to. It is also self healing, meaning that if it is chipped by a stone it will migrate across to repair the damage. Another example is toothpaste, which allows it to be squeezed out of the tube, yet retain a solid shape on the brush.
